THE head boy topped an excellent set of A-level results for Abbey Gate College lower sixth formers with 4 grade As.

Philip Kingsley’s excellent results have earned him a place on a engineering mathematics degree at Bristol University.

With over 67% of grades at A-C, students were pleased and are looking forward to moving into the new sixth form centre in September.

Headmistress, Lynne Horner praised their results and in particular Philip Kingsley saying: “We are all very proud of his excellent achievements”.

Philip’s four A grades at A-level and an A at AS has been recognised as one of the candidates who scored one of the top five marks nationally in physics; an exceptional result commended by the AQA Examination Board.
