A Chester school has unveiled its new head boy and head girl for the next academic year.
Abbey Gate College Sixth Form pupils Joe Nicholson and Georgie Hook have been appointed as head boy and head girl respectively.
They will be assisted in their duties by Will Stuart and Sophie Jones, who are the appointed deputy head boy and girl.
Many students from the college were interested in the posts and the successful four were chosen following their letter of application and interview with headteacher Tracy Pollard and head of sixth form Marc Cavallini.
The duties of the heads of school are wide and varied and as well as leading the college prefect team, they are role models to all of the pupils as well as acting in an ambassadorial role for the full range of college events.
The college community would like to wish them every success in their new roles.
