Fancy getting fit in the new year?

The Cheshire County Sports Club will open its doors on Saturday, January 9 to anyone wishing to try their new, improved facilities, including a new fitness suite and studio which has had £60,000 invested in it.

During the course of the celebratory open day at the Plas Newton Lane club, visitors will be able to test the equipment, see some sample classes in action between 10am and 4pm and speak to staff about flexible, best value memberships.

Local celebrities, charities and fitness experts will be on hand to discuss how new year’s resolutions can be turned into action. There will be free refreshments and entertainment for children.

Your chance to get healthy

Manager of the Cheshire County Sports Club, Jennifer Brookes, said; “Many local residents have been coming here over the years and have fond memories of our vast sports facilities and traditional social areas. The open day is a chance to refresh their views, see what we have to offer now, meet the team and explore the opportunities to get fit and healthy here.”

Fitness@TheCheshire annual membership starts from £12.50 per month (concession membership) but you can also ‘pay as you go’.

The Fitness Suite and the studio are located in the main building on Plas Newton Lane, Chester (CH2 1PR).
