WAXWING Marketing Ltd has won a three-way pitch to deliver creative communications at Chester & District Housing Trust (CDHT).

Since winning the tender, Waxwing, which was chosen by a panel including a resident from the trust’s Joint Communications Group, has already designed CDHT’s Annual Report, as well as worked on designing brochures, newsletters, logos and adverts.

Waxwing, based at Castle Park, Frodsham, is in its second year of trading and has already worked with some significant nationwide clients including Kymco, Hatfields, Watermark and The London Magazine.

CDHT owns, manages and maintains 6,234 homes in six neighbourhoods across Cheshire, is the eighth largest employer in the district and is currently going through due diligence for a merger with Cosmopolitan Housing Group in Liverpool.

Laura Holt, director of Waxwing Marketing Ltd, said: “Waxwing and CDHT are dual success stories in that we are both growing in a difficult financial climate. We have the same ethos in that we are local and offer a very good personal service, with the same ambitions to grow and be innovative.”

CDHT deputy chief executive Su Bramley said: “Waxwing stood out in their presentation as offering something different from other agencies.”
