TEAM members at Mecca bingo in Ellesmere Port took part in their first ‘Go Green Day’.
Activities included team members – who all donned green T-shirts – walking to work rather than using their cars or public transport.
Customers were handed a free box of energy-saving light bulbs and given tips on how to save energy and protect the environment.
The Rank Group, which owns and manages Mecca Bingo, has a target of reducing its carbon footprint by 12,000 tonnes by the end of 2012.
