FOUR Mayors and a Liverpool legend gave an official civic seal of approval to the new ballroom at Hoole Hall Hotel, Chester last weekend.

The occasion was the Wirral Holistic Cancer Care Sunflower Ball hosted by one of its patrons, 60s pop icon, Gerry Marsden and his wife Pauline.

It was the first event to be staged in the beautiful new ballroom and restored conservatory forming part of an on-going £20m makeover at Hoole Hall.
