A Chester based company has raised more than £1,800 for a disabled children’s charity.
Staff at commercial insurance brokers Risk Services North West Ltd raised the cash for Children Today after undertaking a rowathon at Total Fitness on Liverpool Road.
The participants rowed the equivalent of the 110km length of the River Dee on two rowing machines.
The rowathon was part of a year-long partnership between the company and the charity which kicked off in November 2015 with managing director Steve Lowe undertaking a sponsored shark dive for the charity.
Children Today is a Chester based charity that funds specialised equipment for disabled children to help them reach their full potential. The charity is based in Chester Gates Business Park and has been running for more than 20 years.
