DEMAND for offices in Frodsham is on the up as firms regain confidence, says the head of a leading business centre in the town.
Simon Longden, who runs Frodsham Business Centre, says the number of enquiries about office and warehouse spaces at the centre has increased since the turn of the year.
“Since the start of January we have seen a steady increase in firms asking about space at the centre and, as result, we expect several new firms to move in within the next few weeks,” said Simon.
Businesses already based at the centre include specialist IT, finance, legal, and mechanical firms.
“There has been a lot of negative talk about the economy over the last few months but all the current indications tell us that confidence is returning and more and more business owners feel the time is right to develop their firms,” said Simon.
Simon now hopes that the government will announce more support for local business and work more closely with local business leaders to ensure the economic recovery continues.
“In the last few months we have seen a definite upturn in businesses looking to move their operations into more affordable office space in commuter towns like Frodsham.
“Investment and support for local businesses is now crucial to the long-term stability of our local and national economy.”
