A CHESTER health club has answered a radio presenter’s shout out plea to get in shape by offering her one year of personal training services.

The Club and Spa at Hoole’s Doubletree by Hilton hotel, has recruited another member to its personal training programmes – in the form of Heart FM presenter, Angela Jay, who has embarked on a new fitness regime.

Angela, a co-presenter on North West based Heart’s weekday breakfast show, mentioned on air that she wanted to get in shape, and shortly afterwards was contacted by the spa’s Emily Muir, who offered to help the presenter get in to shape and reach her personal goals.

“I’ve taken on the challenge and discovered there are so many more benefits to exercise than just toning up,” said Angela.

“The personal training sessions are great for stress levels and also leave me feeling surprisingly energised.

“I absolutely love working with Emily and the facilities available at the Club and Spa actually make me want to go to the gym.”

Emily added: “Angela was looking for tips to get fit and I thought what better way to showcase the ability of our personal trainers here at the Club and Spa.

“I’m extremely confident that we will achieve all of Angela’s goals with the continuing support of our fitness team combined with Angela’s hard work and dedication.”
