PROFESSIONALS and managers from across the region are being offered the opportunity to find out more about developing their performance and enhancing their career prospects.
The Deeside College Group of Colleges will be holding an advice evening on Tuesday, June 26, at its Northop College site between 5pm and 7pm, offering individuals the chance to gain information about different training options and industry recognised qualifications.
Staff from the college’s employer engagement department, Acquire Training will be offering advice about the different routes available from national bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD), the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
Acquire Training management lecturer Ros Butler said: “Managers and professionals must continue to develop their skills and knowledge base for the sector they serve.
“These qualifications allow them to do just that. It is often now also a prerequisite of many professional careers, for an individual to hold or be working towards a qualification from their chartered body.”
