INDUSTRIAL units are now fully let after four deals were struck in two months.
The units are let at Portside Industrial Estate on Merseyside Road in Ellesmere Port after owner Hurstwood let units one to four– 18,000sq ft of industrial space – in four separate deals.
The new tenants in units one and two are Proweld Engineering Solutions and its sister company Quality Assurance NDE Ltd. The two units have a combined size of nearly 10,000sq ft.
Proweld Engineering Solutions is a leading mechanical engineering contractor formed in 1999. It has clients in the chemical, petrochemical, food and nuclear industries and also works on specialist contracts for the MoD.
Quality Assurance NDE offers an independent non-destructive testing (NDT) service and has clients ranging from small fabricators to large multinationals.
Managing director Tony Meadows said: “Following a period of expansion, Proweld Engineering Solutions and our sister company QA NDE Ltd required additional working space to complement our existing premises.
“We decided on Portside Industrial Estate as it is ideally suited for us geographically not least because of its proximity to our other unit but it also has good transport links being just off the M53 and is also in the heart of our existing client base.”
The new tenant in the 3,000sq ft unit three is SW Performance Limited, which offers engine tuning and diagnostic services.
Boss Steve Walmsley said: “We’re very pleased to have moved into Portside Industrial Estate, which is ideal for motorway access for our customers.”
The fourth new letting saw LTG (Cheshire) expand at the site, taking the 5,000sq ft unit four in addition to unit six which it let in November.
