CHESHIRE West and Chester Council’s pioneering new Highways Maintenance Shared Contract with Shropshire Council is now three months old and Ringway Infrastructure Services vehicles can be seen across the borough.

Ringway is a highly experienced company within the highways arena and has built on Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Road Care commitment to deliver responsive customer services and better value for money.

Cllr Lynn Riley, executive member for community and environment, said: “Ringway has made an impressive start in delivering services on the ground.

“In particular, they worked round the clock to deal with a high number of flooding incidents and have also provided Christmas lighting decorations across the Borough, receiving thanks from parish councils and local businesses.

“We will continue to work closely with Ringway to improve service delivery and create a partnership that increases customer value throughout the contract period over the next six to ten years.”
