THE Flower Box, the newest business at Chester’s Forum Shopping Centre opened just in time for Mother’s Day on Sunday, thanks to the hard work of florist Ean Downes and owner Sandra Riley.

A colourful display of hand-tied bouquets was among the eclectic range of floral tributes available.

“We were really busy and people seemed pleased to have the convenience of a florist once again in the Forum,” said Ean who has worked at florists in and around Chester since graduating from The Greenhouse floristry training establishment in London.

The Flower Box was the brainchild of Forum tenant Sandra Riley of Riley’s Health Supplements, who is celebrating the successful launch of the new business venture.

She said: “I’m delighted that we have got off to such a good start. We were determined to be ready for Mother’s Day and we were.

“The Forum has had florists in the centre in the past and I felt customers were missing the convenience of having access to one. So I took the decision to invest in a new business and was pleased to be able to get well known Chester florist Ean on board.

“For me the Forum is now complete and I know customers will continue to support our local Forum florist.”

Forum Centre manager Lawrence Allen, added: “We are delighted that Sandra has decided to invest in a new venture and we wish her and Ean the very best.”
