CHESTER-BASED firm Linder Myers has announced the regional managing partner for its Chester office today following the recent merger with Drummonds Solicitors which completed at the end of September.
Mark Howarth, a personal injury specialist with extensive experience, will lead the office which will remain at its original Pepper Street location with growth plans both in Chester and wider North Wales region.
Previously based at Linder Myers Manchester headquarters, Mark Howarth commented on his new role: “This is an exciting new challenge to build on Drummonds’ excellent reputation. We will have a particular focus on growing our commercial expertise both in Chester and wider North Wales market over the next 12 to 18 months.
“Our Chester office is well situated in close proximity to our wider network of offices in Lancashire, Shropshire and Manchester and we have ambitious, achievable plans to double the turnover to £3m by 2015 and will continue to actively look for further merger partners in the region.”
The recent merger with Drummonds boosted Linder Myers’ annual turnover to £19.7m, adding 27 employees, including two equity partners to the ambitious fast growing practice.
Linder Myers has 315 employees, including 51 partners, in total across its offices in Manchester, Shropshire, Lancashire and Cheshire.
Offering both private and commercial legal services, the practice has further growth plans targeting regions including Yorkshire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire and Worcester.
