THE newly launched Business Network Chester saw its membership numbers hit the 60 mark after only its second lunch meeting at the city’s racecourse last week, according to its founder Tracy Griffiths.
And with one new member already having won £35,000 worth of business from the Network, Tracy is confident that the concept that has been welcomed with open arms by the city’s business community will continue to attract new members.
“Chester business people are natural networkers,” said Tracy.
“It is an absolute delight to work with such committed business people who not only work hard but who are prepared to go out and build their own networks of like-minded people with the aim of helpingŠ and supporting each other in the rough tough world of business.
“They certainly seem to enjoy the Business Network Chester meetings and are happy to participate in our activities. Hopefully they will agree with my view that our Network meetings are not only good for business – they are enjoyable events too.
“We are currently talking with a number of interested would-be members and I believe our membership figure will be up again by the time we arrive for our next business lunch at the Chester Grosvenor Hotel and Spa on August 17.”.
