THE Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire will present EA Technology with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2011 at the company’s Capenhurst headquarters on Friday.

Since winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2007, EA Technology has doubled its staff to 200, doubled revenues to £20m and achieved sales in 86 countries, with worldwide orders up 345% in the last three years.

In May it was listed in the Sunday Times 100 UK fastest growing private companies for international trade.

EA Technology is owned by its staff and plans to increase its rate of expansion in the next five years, with a major growth in jobs and the opening of new international offices, including in the Far East and North America.

Lord Lieuntenant of Cheshire David Briggs will be joined by VIP guests including The Lord Wade of Chorlton, Ellesmere Port and Neston MP Andrew Miller, Cheshire West and Chester Council leaderMike Jones and West Cheshire College principal Sara Mogel.
