A GLOBAL translation company has appointed Liz Athey as its operations director.

Liz joined Tarporley-based Lloyd International Translations (LIT) last June as ops manager and will take up her new role on the board with immediate effect.

She brings 16 years’ of experience in multi-lingual publishing and will report directly to LIT’s chairman and CEO, Mike Lloyd.

He said: “I’m pleased to welcome Liz onto the board. Her breadth of experience and understanding of the business will bring considerable strength to the organisation as we continue to implement our growth strategy.”

Liz, from Nantwich, holds a first class honours degree in French and Business Studies and prior to joining LIT she spent 10 years with Manchester-based firm, Roevin Translation Services.
