HILL Dickinson has announced the appointment of David Wareing as the firm’s new senior partner.
David (pictured), a former Hill Dickinson managing partner, has been elected to senior partner position by the firm’s members and will take up the post when the current senior partner, Tony Wilson, completes his tenure at the end of the month.
Tony has completed two terms as senior partner, covering a period of 10 years. During this time, the firm has grown significantly, adding three additional offices to its network, seeing an increase on fee income from £23.7m (April 2001) to a forecasted £98m (April 2011) and undergoing a series of strategic acquisitions.
Tony hands over to David who has headed up the Manchester office for five years and is currently head of the company commercial practice group, a practice area that was significantly enhanced in 2010 when Hill Dickinson acquired the Halliwells Liverpool and Sheffield offices. David joined Hill Dickinson in 1976.
