A VIDEO showcasing the grafting of staff at Ellesmere Port Docks will be viewed at a huge trade exhibition in Belgium.

Global logistics specialist Quality Freight Group, based at the docks, commissioned the Business TV team at Mills Media to showcase its work ahead of the exhibition in Antwerp.

The crew filmed over four days at the docks to capture the Quality Freight Group in action.

Barge unloading, warehouse storage, heavy lifting, coal handling, transportation of bulk materials, sand delivery by rail and quayside activities were all filmed to give an idea of an average day’s work for a company with more than 20 years of experience.

Barrie Farrell, head of video and live events at Mills, said: “The visuals for this film were really dramatic. We were able to capture some powerful imagery of what is a round the clock operation. High-quality, high-definition visuals edited with a strong narrative can really have an enduring impact.

“We deliberately kept the film short, around the four-minute mark. It plays on a loop, which means clients visiting the stand at the exhibition can watch the whole thing, and see the full range of services offered by Quality Freight.”

Nigel Kent, business development manager at Quality Freight, said: “It makes a big difference having these kinds of visuals. They are an integral part of promotion at such shows.”

The film was shot, directed and edited by Mills Media’s in-house production team.

Mr Farrell added: “We offer a flexible approach to the editing process so the film can be amended and updated at any point in the future.”
