A NATIONAL energy consultant with a headquarters in Cheshire has announced a successful first year of trading.

Energycentric North West was launched in November 2011 by director Marcus Bemrose following the success of Energycentric’s southern division.

From its headquarters in Ellesmere Port, Energycentric North West has built a strong portfolio of clients in the first year of trading, including property group Venmore, Age Concern Liverpool, biomass company BEL (NI) Limited in Newton-Le-Willows and Two Mills car dealership.

Managing director Marcus Bemrose set up the North West division after identifying a gap in the region for a recognised, reputable energy consultancy.

Energycentric North West offers a range of services to businesses, charities and local authorities of all sizes, from electricity and gas purchasing to cost recovery and bill validation.

The firm generates bespoke energy procurement plans, using a ‘live’ tendering computer system to secure the best available prices for gas and electricity on the wholesale energy market.

Mr Bemrose said: “Energycentric is a well-known and respected name in the energy broking sector, and we felt that by developing a presence in the North West we could take advantage of this – there are so many fantastic blue-chip companies, public and third-sector organisations, SMEs and independent retailers across the region that we can help to manage energy costs.

“Since launching last November we have worked hard to establish the company name in the North West and have signed up a raft of great clients. The amount of money saved in the past year alone is testament to our expertise within energy procurement and cost negotiating.”
