AN ONLINE marketing and search optimisation company has seen off hundreds of other entrants to make the final of the Morgan Foundation Best New Business of the Year awards.

Since its formation in 2009, Engage Web has become a heavy-hitter, with a roster of major international clients.

The Morgan Foundation Awards celebrates the cream of North West entrepreneurs, with the Best New Business category open to those less than four years old.

It recognises the high levels of achievement and success necessary to contribute significantly to the economic growth of the region. It has seen hundreds of nominations and Engage Web has made it into the final shortlist of five.

Engage Web has won contracts in Australia, seen the number of staff double and built an army of loyal writers from across the world, resulting in company co-founder Lianne Wilkinson being nominated for Female Entrepreneur of the Year by EN for Business in September.

Lianne said: “I’m genuinely honoured to make the finals for such a prestigious award.

“Engage Web’s expansion and agility in responding to changing industry conditions means that we are now internationally recognised as a source for internet marketing solutions that work.

“This year is turning out to be a fantastic one for the company, and this nomination justifies the confidence and commitment that our clients have invested in us.”

Engage Web will attend the announcement of the winner of Best New Business of the Year at a gala awards ceremony on November 15.
