MARKETING roadshow company Event Marketing Solutions (EMS) has launched a stand-alone healthcare business to offer temporary accommodation to the NHS.
Ellesmere Port-based EMS-Healthcare LLP will offer its fleet of medical trailers to be used as temporary GP surgeries or mobile treatment wards.
Keith Austin, managing director of EMS and partner in EMS-Healthcare, said: “After two years in the healthcare market, we believe there is great potential to build on our unique temporary accommodation offer through a standalone business.
“One of the major challenges for the new NHS GP consortia as they commission new ways of providing cost-effective community-based care will be the lack of suitable facilities.
“Our high-quality fleet of medical trailers is a proven solution when providers are looking for cost-effective and flexible temporary accommodation.
“We have big ambitions for EMS-Healthcare – to meet those ambitions will require some external investment at a future date.”
