A LEADING commercial law firm celebrated its fourth birthday with a champagne reception at Chester Racecourse.

More than 300 of the region’s leading businesspeople helped commercial law firm DTM Legal in Chester mark its anniversary.

The firm is celebrating another strong year which has also seen it break into The Legal 500, an internationally recognised list of top law firms in the UK and abroad.

In it they were described as having a ‘growing reputation’ and three of its corporate partners were given glowing recommendations.

Other highlights during the last year have included the addition of a number of new staff to the DTM team, strengthening the corporate, employment and litigation teams respectively.

Jim Morris, partner at DTM Legal, said: “It’s been another good year in a challenging environment.

“The firm has reacted well and, whilst continuing to look after its existing clients, has attracted 361 new clients, opened 1,185 new files and dealt with land and corporate transactions exceeding £75m in value.

“Law firms need to be flexible and reflect their clients’ needs and this is something we have tried to do since we launched four years ago so it’s great to be recognised for the work we have done.”
