CHESTER kitchen suppliers JAR Interiors have adopted children’s hospice, Claire House as their nominated charity after hearing about their plight of not being able to open two of their beds.
Claire House has 10 beds, but due to the current financial climate can only afford to open eight – meaning many families are not able to access the care and support they need.
JAR will donate 5% of all kitchen sales during September to the hospice in a bid to help boost funds to open their two remaining beds. Many of their suppliers have also donated an array of prizes for Safe Code, a new showroom game.
Rob Silvester from JAR Interiors said: “We are a family business and when we heard about the difficulties they were having we felt we had to do something to help.”
To do your bit to help, just visit the showroom at Unit 31, Evans Business Centre, Minerva Avenue, Chester, where, for a donation to Claire House, you can have a go at cracking the safe. There are more than £1,000 of kitchen related products to be won.
