CHESTER-based jewellery designer Chloe Moss is gearing up for a national expansion of her ChloBo brand after securing financial support from NatWest.

Founded eight years ago, the ChloBo collection is stocked by more than 40 retailers, the majority of which are based in the north.

However, ChloBo is currently expanding in other parts of the country, having recently added new stockists in Brighton and Norfolk.

Chloe began designing her range of jewellery after being inspired on a trip to Bali. The ChloBo collection consists of three main ranges all of which are made from sterling silver. Chloe’s designs have attracted a celebrity fan-base with the likes of Cheryl Cole and Coleen Rooney pictured wearing her jewellery.

Chloe sources the raw materials from the Far East prior to designing and manufacturing the jewellery at the main ChloBo studio in Hoole. The business employs 16 people and this figure is due to grow as demand for the collection increases.

Chloe said: “It’s a really exciting time for everyone connected to the business as the number of jewellers and fashion boutiques which stock the ChloBo range continues to grow.

“We recently added stockists in Brighton and Norfolk and remain keen to expand our presence in all parts of the country. “

NatWest’s business banking team in Chester provided ChloBo with a £150k working capital facility to help cover the costs of producing additional stock.

Hugh Downer, NatWest Relationship Manager said: “Chloe has built a successful business in a highly competitive market sector. She has a clear vision for the future of the ChloBo brand and we are delighted to provide financial support for her plans.”
