Friends cement entrepreneurial success with growing business

ALTHOUGH the digital world has always generally been male-dominated, two Chester friends are taking their business from strength to strength.

Jane Entwistle first met Libby Entwistle when they worked in different roles at a Chester design agency more than five years ago.

Libby had just moved to the area from London and the women quickly realised they didn’t just have a surname in common, they also shared the same ambitions.

Over lunch one day, Libby asked Jane what she thought about the two of them setting up their own digital and design agency and Jane jumped at the idea.

They were thrilled their own digital and marketing agency, Entyce, was subsequently born in early 2008.

“With more than 25 years of experience between us, we have a clear understanding of what works for our customers and this has helped to accumulate an impressive client list,” said Jane.

“We’ve worked with many exciting brands, like Intel, Samsung, Lastminute.com, Tetra Pak andKPMG, who have an great reputation for supporting business growth and making a real difference to their clients’ objectives.

“We develop award-winning websites and our team of designers and developers support our clients by creating online communications that perform and generate great results.

“We really pride ourselves on providing honest advice and producing rewarding results.”

Based near the Bike Factory in Boughton, as Jane and Libby enter their sixth year in business, it is an exciting time for the future of Entyce.

“Since we started there have been massive advances in web design as well as the phenomenal growth of social media,” said Libby.

“So it’s important for us to be up to date with the latest technologies and means of digital marketing so we are able to offer the most creative and effective campaigns for our clients.

“We firmly believe that, by dedicating some time every week to research and development, we can guarantee our ability to provide the best advice and solutions for the people we deal with.

“Now we have an office in London too, and we’re so proud to be forging ahead by supporting the business success of clients that are based throughout the country in what has always been a male-dominated society.”
