de WINTER PR has been named the North West’s best PR consultancy at the CIPR awards in Manchester.
The Chester-based agency, which also has offices in Manchester and Liverpool, went head-to-head with some of the region’s biggest PR firms for the title of Outstanding PR Consultancy of the Year at this year’s CIPR North West PRide Awards.
The event recognises excellence in public relations through creative communications and celebrating PR practitioners, businesses and organisations working in the North West of England.
Hems de Winter, CEO at de Winter, said: “I am immensely proud of this achievement and it’s another fantastic milestone in our history.
“This award is testament to our team who work tirelessly to surpass client expectations and achieve meaningful results. We take great pride in the work we do and constantly try to push boundaries by trying new things and adding as much creativity as possible to our work.
“This year has already been special in many ways as we celebrated our 25th anniversary, the opening of our new Liverpool office and the launch of The Retail Room – our new standalone retail PR brand.
“Household names from a range of industry sectors trust us and have given us the opportunity to get them to where they want to be. Some of our clients have been with us for over 20 years, and in addition to the efforts of the team, forging and maintaining meaningful, long-term relationships with our clients has been key to our success.”
This year’s event was attended by more than 400 media professionals from across the North West.
Commenting on de Winter’s victory, the CIPR judging panel, said: “The consultancy has further expanded its service offering to include content marketing – a solid strategy. de Winter’s entry also includes a highly impressive client endorsement, citing the consultancy’s integrity, can-do attitude, knowledge, understanding and relationship management. A very worthy winner.”
De Winter’s success comes hot on the heels of winning a bronze award at the 2014 Fresh Awards and the agency will be in the spotlight again next month at the national Public Affairs Awards, where they have been shortlisted for Best Public Sector Campaign.
