PHILIPPA Lewis, a solicitor specialising in inheritance tax planning and estate administration, has been appointed to Hill Dickinson’s Chester office.

Philippa is transferring from the firm’s head office in Liverpool and will bring high quality advice to clients in all areas of private client work including wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, probate administration, Court of Protection matters and personal tax planning.

She is a fully qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the leading body for private client advisers, and is in the process of obtaining Chartered Tax Adviser status.

Philippa grew up in North Wales and attended school in Chester, giving her local connections and knowledge of the area.

Ian Sydenham, private client partner at Hill Dickinson’s Chester office, said: “We are looking forward to Philippa joining us at a busy time for the private client team in Chester. Demand for high-calibre, private client advice is increasing in the regional marketplace and adding her to our existing team will mean that we’re not only able to provide an enhanced service to existing clients but are also in a strong position to attract new business to the firm. Philippa’s expertise will be greatly welcomed.”

Philippa added: “I am excited about my move to Chester. It will be nice to go back to my roots and to apply the experience I have gained at Hill Dickinson for the benefit of clients in Cheshire and North Wales.”
