A CHESTER-BASED marketing agency has won two major marketing awards.

Rowan, which already has a string of national awards to its name, won the top award in the Best Live Initiative category for its work with Lloyds Banking Group in the National B2B Marketing Awards.

The multi-faceted and informative campaign promoting a series of successful events targeted at a local level, and a dynamic follow-up campaign, won high praise both from Lloyds Banking Group and from the sector.

Senior manager of marketing at Lloyds Banking Group, Garry Reynolds, said: “Rowan produced a campaign that could not be ignored, utilising a comprehensive mix of mediums and customer touch points, culminating in 14 high profile regional networking events – attended by over two thousand CEOs, FDs and professionals from many of the UK’s largest companies. If a campaign is measured on exceeding all objectives, this is without doubt a winner.”

Rowan were also runners up in the Customer Relationship Initiative award.

Jon Moseley, MD of Rowan, was elated by this recognition from the industry’s leading event. “At a time when the business environment has been challenging for agencies and clients, we have continued to be successful. Over the year we have won several big name new clients and now 2010 will end on a real high with these awards for our work with Lloyds Banking Group”.
