A NEW business club targeted at firms in the CH4 postcode area is being launched on Tuesday.

The inaugural meeting of the CH4 Business Club will be held in Saltney’s Oddfellows Hall at 3pm.

Business adviser Oli Ryan, who has organised the meeting, said: “It’s purpose is to give local businesses a way to get a competitive advantage in these difficult times.

“This is done through the networking of information, find out who the neighbours are and what they do.

“They can find out what is happening in the local business world and find out what help they can get to move the business to the next level.”

Businesses from across the CH4 postcode are invited to attend. Areas covered under this postcode include Saltney, Penyffordd, Broughton, Lache and Pulford.

There will be a series of 10-minute talks during the meeting, including a talk from North Wales Police about the potential for local business crime and Quay Marketing discussing tips for businesses.

A Flintshire County Council talk will also detail what support is available for businesses, while a Crimebeat representative is scheduled to talk on how local firms help the community.
