AN ENTREPRENEUR has launched a business dedicated to seeking the best deals in Chester.
Jennifer Emery has set up the Big Daily Deal Company for the Chester area, offering discounts of 50-90% off things to eat, drink and do across the city.
A launch event was held in the city at Oddfellows, Lower Bridge Street, last Thursday to herald the franchise’s arrival in Chester.
Jennifer said: “I have watched the Big Daily Deal Company develop in the Wirral over the last 18 months and it has done extremely well, they have benefited a number of charities.
“I have spent a lot of time going to Chester over the weekends with my family and when the franchise came up I jumped at the chance to set it here.
“Hopefully I will be able to provide a platform for businesses, particularly new ones which don’t have a marketing budget. It helps get them in the public eye and it helps customers try out something new and can stimulate the local economy.
“We offer heavy discounts on things to do around Chester, including beauty products such as Shellac nails, restaurant deals and gas boiler services.”
There is also a charitable aim behind the company.
Jennifer said: “The Countess of Chester Hospital is looking to build a new neonatal unit. They have finalised where they want to put it but need to raise £3m.
“The company will be doing financial donations depending on how well we do and will be raising awareness of the funding appeal through emails and the website.”
