Dozens of people put their best feet forward along the Oakmere Way for a good cause.

The Ash-worth Time Bank organised a Sponsored Walk along the route, located is in the Oakmere/Delamere area.

About 30 people took part, including Jack the whippet along with his owner Dawn Hearne and up to now, £450 has been raised for Time Bank funds, with sponsorship money still coming in. Jack alone raised £110 in sponsorship money!

Following the walk, everyone enjoyed lunch at the home of Tom Bonikowski.

Thanks are expressed to all those who came along and supported the walk and to those people who provided and served the delicious food, not forgetting Tom, who kindly played host to the event.
