Our latest Party People picture special  features a VIP night which marked the re-opening of Chester’s Et Alia at The Red House

More than 150 guests were invited to the 'festa fantastico' to showcase the changes at the recently revamped restaurant on the banks of the River Dee.

Et Alia at The Red House bar manager Daniel Hammond, who has enjoyed extensive training with cocktail maestro Salvatore Calabrese, concocted a special cocktail menu for the occasion.

Renowned North West swing singer Alan Cross entertained guests with his relaxed repertoire of swing classics with an Italian twist.

Managing director of Et Alia at the Red House, Steve Garrity, said: "Transforming The Red House into Et Alia was not a decision we took lightly.

"Understanding the importance of The Red House and its historical position here with our local friends in Boughton has led us to retain the name, while also taking advantage of our unique scenic riverscape."

Executive chef Ian Crosby added: "We had a wonderful time hosting our guests and showcasing the vibrant atmosphere, surroundings and exciting Italian delicacies offered by Et Alia at The Red House."
