A NUMBER of new stores have popped up in time for Christmas in Chester.

Toymaster, Beau Perry and Linden Adams Photography have all been added to Grosvenor Shopping Centre this month along with a Calendar Club stall in the St Michael’s Square promotional space.

Fashion store, Raw has relocated to make way for Barratts shoes and Jean Genius has also opened selling gifts and gadgets.

The new shops have opened their doors up just in time for the festive season and add to more than 70 stores at the city centre shopping hub, including the latest permanent addition of footwear store, Schuh.

Toymaster, now open at St Michaels Square offers a selection of the latest and traditional toys featuring on Christmas wish lists this year. Just around the corner is Linden Adams Photography, displaying an eye-catching selection of photographic gift packages to suit every taste including a wedding service.

Perfect for the gifting season, Beau Perry, on Newgate Row is offering stylish home accessories, including vases, cushions, decorative plates, cake stands, clocks and a selection of ladies handbags, matching purses and cosmetic bags.

The new stores join other retailers in the city who are now open until 8pm each Thursday until Christmas.

General manager, Julie Webb, welcomed the new retailers to the centre. She said: “The centre has been buzzing and vibrant since we kicked-off our late night shopping and with the new stores we have something for all our shoppers to enjoy.”

The centre will be hosting a number of late night events in the run-up to Christmas including a competition to nominate a Special Someone who deserves a wonderful treat this festive season and put them forward for the chance of winning £500. Closing date for entries is December 14.
