The City of Chester Male Voice Choir is on a recruitment drive.
Interested singers are welcome to attend an open night on Wednesday, March 19 at 7.30pm at Hamilton St Methodist Church Hall in Hoole.
Secretary Pam Millington said: “We are looking for new members in all sections of the choir and the open evening is designed so you can hear what we do and chat to members.”
No previous experience is necessary, you do not need to be able to read music and there are no auditions.
The choir was formed in 1941 and to date has performed at many venues both abroad and in the UK raising many thousands of pounds for charity.
The singers won the Male Voice section of the North Wales Choral Festival, held in Llandudno each year.
