The A41 has been closed between Broxton and Grindley Brook after a collision involving a car and an HGV on Wednesday afternoon (May 6).
Emergency services are working at the scene of the incident at Whitchurch heading towards Hampton Heath.
Delays are expected.
Police are advising motorists to seek an alternative route.
