A futuristic mansion with seven bedrooms, a football pitch, indoor pool and helipad in Helsby is back on the market.
Once described as ‘like a cross between Tracy Island and something out of James Bond’, it could be yours for £4.695m.
Steppingstone, so-called in homage to Bruce Springsteen whose name means Steppingstone in old Dutch, sits at the top of Hill Road North in the village.
Most of the house, including guest suites, lounge and children’s play area, is found below ground level.
As the pictures show, large parts of the design are open plan so there is no shortage of natural light despite being below the surfact.
The pool complex also comes with a gym, sauna and a jacuzzi from which you can watch TV as it bubbles away.
Outside is the 40ft football pitch, zip wire and tree house. The helipad is there for any guests who might be dropping in from above.
Steppingstone appeared up for sale on property site RightMove at the end of April. It is listed by estate agents Stuart Rushton and Co from Knutsford.
Steve O’Connor, owner of Super League club Widnes Vikings, was behind the project when it was conceived.
Last year he said: “It’s like a cross between Tracy Island and something out of James Bond - a bit mad basically.

“But the architect has done a brilliant job because the space can feel very private, or very public, depending on what you want. We find it very intimate.”
Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli was rumoured to be interesting in buying the property, but much like his finishing this proved to be wide of the mark.
