The Chronicle has teamed up with United Carpets to give one of our readers’ rooms a fabulous facelift.

The prize, worth £250, is for a room of up to 3.5m x 4m to be brightened up with a luxurious carpet – including underlay and fitting.

United Carpets on Nantwich Road in Crewe has been owned by local businessman Eddie Davies for almost five years.

Since buying the store in 2010 he has greatly expanded the range of his stock to include wood, vinyl, LVT, carpets and rugs as well as his British-made beds and mattresses.

Eddie has recently extended his ‘red carpet’ area, offering customers even more choice from special-order stock ranging in price from £8/m2 to over £50, as well as a huge selection of on-the-roll stock ranging from only £3.99/m2 to £16.99 – and some great roll-end bargains!

The prize-winner will receive a Temple carpet (in their choice of colours from the store-stocked options), Super Airstep underlay, and fitting to include grippers and door bars where required, for a room size up to 3.5m x 4m.

Temple is a Saxony carpet with a 10-year wear warranty. This bleach-cleanable carpet is available in a huge choice of colours, there’s one to make your room look fantastic!

Eddie said: “Our best-selling Temple range is a consistent favourite with our customers, It’s hard-wearing yet feels great.”
