The latest performance by students at Bishop Heber High School was Wicked!
Directed by head of drama Kelly Cawley with musical director Stephen Ferrelly and stage manager Bethan Williams, the production, entitled Wicked of Oz, was based on the Wizard of Oz and Wicked!
The intertwining stories of Dorothy, Elphaba, Galinda, The Wizard and a host of other colourful characters as they emerge on the journey along the Yellow Brick Road inlcuded lead parts taken by Poppy Hall (Elphaba), Flora O’Neill (Glinda), Alex McCarthy (Wizard), Hannah Grimwhaw (Dorothy), Jack Long (Lion) and Lauren McCarthy (Toto)
In addition there were the monkeys, Shiz School students munchkins and dancers.
