Dorothy and Toto were not spotted in Chester yesterday but the sky certainly looked as if a tornado might be whipping up.
Strange cloud shapes resulted in many people taking to social media to share their views of the sky on Tuesday, June 23.
Some spotted angels, there was even a crocodile but most agreed they were caused by 'chemtrails' (pollutants or worse from aircraft) or contrails (caused by condensation).
Stuart Robinson tweeted: Not clouds, but condensation trails. Nothing natural about them.
