A full day of top-class sport is on offer at the Roodee this weekend.

Halewood International Day is on Saturday, June 11, with gates opening at 11.30am and the first race at 2.15pm.

As well as six races to thrill the crowds, the Wales v Slovakia game at Euro 2016 will also be shown at 5pm on a big screen at the White Horse pub (pre-booking advisable via thewhitehorse.co.uk).

You will be able to get into the spirit of World Gin Day with a fabulous gin cocktail in the newly christened Winning Post Enclosure, while those looking for a family day out are encouraged to visit the open course.
