The LoveChristmas Fair is returning to Chester Racecourse for its spectacular charity festive shopping experience in aid of the Countess of Chester Hospital ’s Babygrow Appeal, Turn2Us and Nightingale House Hospice.

Building on the huge success of last year’s fair which raised more than £17,000 for the charities, this year’s fair boasts nearly 70 stalls which have been handpicked from across the UK to give the shoppers of Chester access to exceptional boutiques.

From Dragon’s Den winners to hot shopping picks from Vogue, the stall holders have been carefully selected to provide the widest choice of gifts.

The fair also features a performance by Songs of Praise finalists’ Queen’s Young Voices on Wednesday lunchtime.

Stallholder highlights include: Dragon’s Den winners MyBunjee – Mobile phone accessories; The Bunbury Bag Company, Carlotta’s Trading and Mrs B’s Bespoke Stocks; ;stibos Argentino – Argentinian leather gifts, Bushbells–Kenyan textiles and clothing; Chilton Liqueurs - Damson gin from Herefordshire; Becky Bettesworth - poster artist from Devon.

On the evening of Tuesday, November 15 the drinks reception and shopping evening runs from 6-9.30pm. Tickets are £10 and available at lovechristmas.org.

The daytime fair on Wednesday, November 16 is from 9.30am-3.30pm and tickets are £5 on the door (free entry for Tuesday ticket-holders).

LoveChristmas chair Philippa Graham-Palmer said: “We work very hard to find interesting and unusual boutiques and to create an exciting and beautiful fair so that we can raise as much money as possible for our charities.

“Every penny we raise goes to help the neonatal unit at Chester hospital, the vital care at Nightingale House Hospice and the important work fighting UK poverty by Turn2Us.”
