Britain’s Got Talent finalist Beau Dermott has been dodging the issue in her latest production at Chester’s Hammond School.

The 13-year old, who stole the hearts of many on the ITV talent show in May this year, has been playing the Artful Dodger in the performing arts college performance of the hit musical Oliver!

Tackling the all-time favourite Consider Yourself, Beau shared the role with fellow student Dylan Saffer in the production which had a double cast.

Beau Dermott, from Widnes, came fifth in the TV show, losing out on the title to magician Richard Jones. She won people’s hearts in the heats with her rendition of Defying Gravity from the hit musical Wicked.

Oliver! was the first in a year-long programme of special production to mark The Hammond’s centenary year.
