The hit Disney film Beauty and the Beast is coming to the North West backed with a live orchestra.

A live action adaptation of the classic animated film is touring England and Scotland with a full orchestra – and will come to Manchester and Liverpool for one date only.

Audiences can watch the 2017 live action adaptation of the classic animated film unfold on the big screen at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall and Liverpool's Philharmonic Hall as musicians bring the spellbinding story to life by performing the magical scores.

The Disney In Concert tour opens at the Royal Festival Hall in London in February and will come to Manchester on Friday, March 23 and Liverpool on Monday, April 9.

Starring Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as the Beast, the film features the unforgettable score from eight-time Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken with new recordings of the original songs written by Menken and two-time Academy Award winner Howard Ashman.

The film features all-time favourite songs including the title song, Be Our Guest and Something There.

Tickets are expected to sell out quickly and go on pre-sale at 10am on Wednesday, September 13 on Ticketmaster and on general sale on Friday, September 15 at 10am.
