A Little Budworth pub celebrated its third birthday with a three-day beer and music festival and an award in to the bargain.

The Egerton Arms is a family run freehouse run by the Walters sisters Francesca, Emily and Alice, their mum, dad and Horrace the dog,

A highlight of the festival, which featured more than 40 beers and ciders and six bands, was the pub being awarded CAMRA’s Pub of the Season 2016.

Showcasing a selection of real ales from selected local breweries, the festival was an opportunity to try new and interesting beers from the region in a fun and eclectic setting. New to the bill this year was also a range of award-winning real ciders and an impressive array of craft kegs.

In keeping with the festival vibe, there were barbeques, wood-fired pizza and even the much adored pop-up Thai that debuted last year.
