Two contrasting pieces based on the work of two of England’s most celebrated poets. The Youth Theatre present a dramatic interpretation of the narrative poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner about redemption and mankind’s relationship with nature. This Glorious Son charts the rise to supreme power of the youngest son of the dying king, using music and excerpts from Shakespeare’s Richard III to show how tyranny rises in failed states.
