Born in Russia in 1985, Alina Ibragimova is one of the most intriguing and accomplished violinists of the younger generation. She studied at the Moscow Gnesin School prior to moving to Britain in 1995, to continue her studies at the Yehudi Menuhin School and the Royal College of Music. Alina starred in three concerts at the 2015 BBC Proms, performing two concertos and late night recitals, featuring Bach Partitas and Sonatas, which attracted capacity audiences.
