Theatregoers in Chester have shown once again just how much they love a traditional family pantomime with Tip Top Productions ' staging of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs proving a sell out at the city's Forum Studio Theatre .

The show sold almost 5,000 seats during its run from December 7-30 with an additional show being added due to popular demand.

Peter Swingler OBE, chairman of Tip Top Productions and writer of the pantomime said: "The audience response has been fantastic.  We had people travelling to see the show from far and wide and we are already being asked about tickets for this year's pantomime which will be Aladdin .

The second half of Tip Top's season at The Forum Studio Theatre includes a staging of legendary West End musical Avenue Q , Brian Friel's Dancing at Lughnasa , three more episodes of the classic BBC comedy Fawlty Towers , J.B Priestley's When We Are Married , Yasmina Reza's The God of Carnage and the world premiere of Useless Beauty, a new play by Chester based actor, director and Tip Top member Mark Newman.
