Upton Dramatic Society’s next production is Alan Ayckbourn’s hilarious comedy How The Other Half Loves which takes place at Upton Village Hall from Wednesday, December 2-Saturday, December 5.

The production will see two new faces tread the boards for the company for the first time - although both bring extensive experience of the amateur stage with them.

Chris Schofield is an experienced actor having recently had a part in Chester Cathedral’s Mystery Plays and before that in several drama groups in the Bolton area.

Louise Usher, who has recently joined the society, had experience in amateur dramatics in her native Somerset.

Tickets for the play can be obtained on line at the website uptondrama.co or by calling 01244 382174.

Auditions for the society’s spring production Hobson’s Choice take place on Wednesday, October 28 at 7.30pm at Upton United Reformed Church.
