The cast for Theatre in the Quarter’s ambitious new production of The Snow Queen has been unveiled.

The festive production follows the company’s acclaimed staging of A Christmas Carol at the Town Hall last year.

All the company's special ingredients - original music by Matt Baker, wonderful storytelling, digital media and a fusion of community and professional theatre performers - will combine to make another memorable and exciting Christmas feast.

This time, performances will take place at St Mary's Centre in Chester.

“We have a great professional cast this year – amazingly talented actor-musicians,” said artistic director Matt Baker.

“We will also have a community company again of children and adults to support them.

“The new script (adaptation by director Russ Tunney) is absolutely fantastic, the design (by award winner Judith Croft) is breathtaking and, even though I say so myself, the music is coming along beautifully!”
